PCF Young Investigator Awards support early-career researchers with flexible funding to advance innovative, high-impact work in lethal or potentially lethal prostate cancer. Funds may be used for protected time or direct research costs, but not for indirect expenses. Awardees must have at least one mentor, submit timely progress reports, and attend the Annual PCF Scientific Retreat and Young Investigator Forum, with most travel costs covered by PCF.
The program is open globally to early-career investigators across diverse disciplines and research approaches, including basic, translational, computational, and clinical research, provided they are in environments capable of supporting transformational prostate cancer research. Priority is given to innovative bench-to-bedside projects with near-term patient impact; incremental studies or those focused on low-risk localized disease are generally non-competitive.
