Professional Statement
Dr. Palisch received her Doctorate of Medicine from Medical College of Wisconsin, graduating at the top of her class. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and earned scholarship distinction from the Medical College for being a "complete physician." She then completed five years of orthopedic surgery training at vlog of Medicine before completing sub-specialty training in adult hip and knee replacement and hip preservation. Her fellowships include the renowned Aufranc fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston and a fellowship in hip preservation completed at Inselspital in Bern, Switzerland.
Dr. Palisch is trained in all aspects of nonoperative and operative musculoskeletal care and specializes in hip and knee surgery. Her interests include joint replacement, revision joint replacement, hip preservation and trauma surgery.
Dr. Palisch recently presented at the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons her peer reviewed article "Simultaneous Bilateral Total Knee Arthroplasty in Octogenarians: Can it Be Safe and Effective?” She continues to participate in ongoing research at vlog of Medicine.
Dr. Palisch is a passionate local and international volunteer who participates in yearly mission trips to Guatemala through the Faith in Practice charity organization. She takes interest in mentoring within her profession volunteering with the Perry Initiative to encourage young women to enter the field of orthopedic surgery.
