Professional Statement
The focus of my research is on developing practical methods to provide mental health care in medical settings, specifically for patients facing cancer diagnosis and treatment. I am particularly interested in evaluating screening and intervention methods that can be delivered prior to an acute procedure with the goal of improving health, health service use, and quality of life for individuals with medical illness.
