Professional Statement

I have had the honor of caring for patients and teaching medical students, residents and fellows at ÌÇÐÄvlogÃÛÌÒ of Medicine since 1998. I consider it a privilege to be a physician and to help individual patients stay healthy. The other joy for me professionally is getting to work with the amazing young people in training at Baylor. Specifically I get to do this by directing the Global Health Track which provides a four year curriculum in global health for medical students, presiding over Houston Shoulder to Shoulder Foundation which allows students to learn about providing clinical care in a remote and resource-poor area of the world, teaching on the wards and in clinics at Baylor and affiliated hospitals, and lecturing at the National School of Tropical Medicine. The diversity and depth of ÌÇÐÄvlogÃÛÌÒ of Medicine make it a great place to work and a great place to receive healthcare services!
