Dr. Venkat Ramanathan is the Associate Chief of Medical Care Line at the Michael E. DeBakey VA medical center, Houston. He currently serves as the Director of all Solid-Organ transplant programs at MEDVAMC. He completed the ASN-accredited fellowship in kidney transplantation. Prior to the current roles, he served as the Program Director for Baylor’s Nephrology fellowship program and as the Chief of Nephrology at the Houston VA hospital.
