Whitney Landfried is a Nurse Practitioner in the Adolescent Medicine department at Texas Children’s Hospital, specializing in patients with eating disorders. She practices in the outpatient setting where she works closely with the mental health and dietary teams as well as the remainder of the medical team to promote healthy lifestyles consistent with appropriate adolescent growth and development. Prior to joining the Adolescent Medicine team, Whitney was a member of the Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center as a Nurse Practitioner. Her nursing experience includes ten years of bedside nursing, caring for critically ill patients in the Pediatric Oncology department as well as the Pediatric ICU, both of which were at Christus Children’s Hospital in San Antonio.
