We are a group of behavioral nutrition researchers led by Dr. Teresia O’Connor, M.D., MPH, FAAP. The O’Connor Lab is part of the USDA/ARS Children’s Nutrition Research Center. Our research focuses on identifying strategies to best prevent childhood obesity; provide better understanding of how fathers and mothers influence their children’s obesity related behaviors; and assessing how to use technology to improve the measurement of children obesity-related behaviors.
